Mattei Optima Series Air Compressors
89 to 1,251 SCFMOPTIMA Series quiet cabinet constant-duty Rotary Vane Compressors feature an inverter to match their operation to suit the load profile required by the compressed air system to ensure maximum energy savings under varying air demands. The inverter adjusts the motor’s rotational speed, adapting the air delivered by the compressor to the actual air demand. OPTIMA can save up to 35% of the annual operating costs. Ideal for automotive, commercial and industrial applications.
All models are equipped with MaestroXS microprocessor controllers and protection system, AC inverters, premium efficient TEFC motors, quiet acoustic enclosures, air-cooled aftercoolers, intelligent timed electronic condensate drain and separator kits and are filled with Mattei Rotoroil 8000 F2 synthetic oil.
“W” Version includes water-cooled oil and after cooler.

Thanks to this device the compressors are programmed to work in two different operating modes: “Neutral Zone” and “PID”. OPTIMA adjusts its operation to the load profile required by the system. The inverter modifies the motor rotational speed, adjusting the air flow supplied by the compressor to the actual requirement of the system.
In PID mode the controller uses the average of the set up values as the target pressure and strives to keep the pressure at this value, by increasing or reducing the rotational speed.
